Birthday Cake Candle Holder - Germ Free!

Handmade unique sculpture, made by myself, that has a practical use; I have never liked the practise of a person celebrating something and being given a cake to blow out candles and spitting their germs all over the cake - even more so since Covid era. Well, now you don't have to. Put one candle into this stand-in for the cake and have that person blow it out!

I used papier mache, paper pulp, modeling putty, polymer clay, paint and resin to complete this sculpture. You don't have to use it for its intended purpose - you can, of course, simply display is as home decor.

If longevity is your concern, there are pieces of paper mache from antiquity that are hundreds of years old.
