By browsing or purchasing on this site, you agree to the following terms and conditions that help keep our marketplace safe, fair, and respectful for all users.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age, or have permission from a parent or guardian to make purchases.
• You must provide accurate billing and shipping information.
• You must reside in a supported shipping region (Canada and U.S. at launch).

Account & Checkout

Accounts are optional. You’re responsible for entering correct details and ensuring your payment method is valid. Payments are securely processed by Stripe. We never store your full credit card info.

Order confirmation is sent by email. Vendors handle fulfillment, tracking, and communication directly.

Purchasing from Independent Vendors

Each vendor runs their own shop, manages their own inventory, and handles customer support. Craftvara connects you to the maker — we do not produce or ship items ourselves.

Shipping & Delivery

• Vendors set their own shipping methods and timelines.
• Craftvara is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged packages.
• If your item is late, contact the vendor directly via your order confirmation or their profile page.

Refunds & Returns

Each vendor has their own return policy. You must contact the vendor directly if you wish to return or exchange an item. Craftvara does not issue refunds or mediate returns.

Disputes & Conduct

• Start with the vendor if there's an issue.
• Harassment or abuse will not be tolerated.
• Craftvara may take action in cases of serious or repeated violations.

Marketplace Integrity

• No bulk buying to replicate or mass-produce artisan work.
• No impersonation, fraudulent chargebacks, or data abuse.
• Craftvara may suspend or cancel orders/accounts if misuse is detected.

Privacy & Data

Your data is used only to fulfill your order. We don’t sell or share your personal info for ads. All payments are encrypted via Square. You may request data deletion if no active orders remain.

Changes to Terms

Craftvara may update these terms as needed. We’ll notify you of major changes by email or during checkout. If you don’t agree, you may stop using the platform. Active orders must still be fulfilled in good faith.
